We are please to announce the event schedule* for the 2018 ADLA and WCWA season.

Registration for percussion and winds ensembles will begin on October 9, 2017.

2018 Event Registration Information

To all Directors, Instructors and Ensemble Managers:

2018 Event Registration for Winds and Percussion will begin Monday, October 9, 2017 at 10:00am.  To register your ensemble you will need an account and you must have the ensemble you are registering attached to your account.

Registration is open to all ensembles in all divisions – Percussion and Winds.

Registering New Ensembles or New Ensemble Managers
New ensembles, directors and ensemble managers will be required to create an account prior to registration.    First check to see if your ensemble is in our system by checking the ensemble profiles.   If you are new to an ensemble or school and need to change the directors or ensemble managers, use the same form as a new ensemble to create an account.    You may have up to 2 ensemble managers per ensemble.

“Winds” Ensembles will now register on this site.  You should create a new account  –  create an account

Returning Ensembles and Ensemble Managers.
If you have an account you should test your login before October 9 to make sure your information and your ensemble(s) information is correct and complete.  Contact us if you need assistance.

2018 Event Fees

Prior to January 1:

$100/Ensemble for Evaluation Show
$225/Ensemble for Regular Events
$425/Ensemble for Semi-Finals/Champs (10% savings compared to registering after January 1 ).

After January 1:

$150/Ensemble for Evaluation Show
$250/Ensemble for Regular Events
$450/Ensemble for Semi-Finals/Champs.

$100/Ensemble for Evaluation Show/Clinic
$200/Ensemble for Regular Events
$300/Ensemble for Championships

Semi-Finals and Championship Qualifications for Percussion Ensembles

To qualify for Semi-Finals you must attend One (1) regular season show.  The deadline for Semi-Finals Registration is March 10.    

Percussion Championships will take place on a single day for all divisions.  The date/location of championships will be announced as soon as a site is confirmed.

Arcadia Music and Arts Symposium: The symposium is a specialized summer music and arts program that provides instruction in instrumental music and visual arts. It is designed for music students in high school and middle school, visual arts students, students interested in electronic music and video game music production, leadership students, professional musicians, all educators, and anyone who may be interested in any courses that are offered.

The educational workshops and master classes will be customized and accommodate various levels of proficiency. In addition, participants will experience a variety of activities that develop strong leadership and promote health and wellness both mentally and emotionally.
Family and friends are invited to attend a showcase concert on Saturday night which will be a unique opportunity for the students to play along side LA’s top professional recording artists in a concert setting on the stage of the performing arts center.
We have gathered a stellar group of master teachers and working professionals of different disciplines within the Arts (music, visual…) for student learning and sharing. It is a safe and welcoming space for professional development and networking possibilities.

2017 Post Season and Event Host Meeting

The 2017 Post Season and Host Meeting for ADLA and WCWA is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 10:00am to 2:00pm and will take place at Tustin High School.  Please take a moment to RSVP HERE so we know how many to expect.

This meeting will have two parts.  The Post Season Meeting from 10:00am to 1:00pm followed by a Host Meeting from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

The Post Season Meeting will be an opportunity for directors and instructors to review and discuss things that went well and recommend areas of improvement.

To have discussion items and topics included on the agenda, please submit them no later than Thursday, May 18 by using the form located here – 2017 Post Season Discussion Items and Agenda Topics.

You should plan on attending the Host Meeting if you are interested in hosting an event in 2018.  During this meeting we will review and discuss requirements for hosting, timelines, minimum host requirements, and areas for improving future events.    We are asking anyone interested in hosting an event in 2018 to submit a 2018 Event Host Application in advance of the May 20th meeting.
